Simon to take on 50-MILE Greenholme Challenge for One In A Million Charity

I’m delighted to be taking on the ‘Greenholme Challenge’ in support of One In A Million – a Bradford children and young people’s charity.
On the 1st and 2nd November, I’ll be walking 50 miles over two days. This challenge is especially significant for me: just five months ago, I suffered a brain haemorrhage and couldn’t walk more than 200 metres. Today, this is more than just a walk – it’s a victorious story of hope and recovery.
One In A Million works tirelessly across disadvantaged communities in Bradford, delivering life-changing sports, arts and enterprise programmes for children and young people aged 5–19. Their vision inspires me, because like my journey, it’s about showing resilience, overcoming obstacles, and creating brighter futures.
Please make a donation as I walk the extra mile – every pound you give will help transform young lives in Bradford.
If you’d like to cheer me on, my route will take me from Valley Parade to Wharfedale Flooring (Yeadon), Greenholme Flooring (Otley), Holme Company (Skipton), before returning to Valley Parade.
Together, we can turn every mile into hope for the next generation.
