Streetwise Tournament Unites Young People Across the District

On 1st April 2026, we hosted our latest Streetwise Tournament (Goals Beyond The Streets), bringing together around 70 young people from across our hubs in Manningham, Keighley, Windhill, and BD5.
Streetwise is our regular football-centred programme, providing a safe, positive space where young people can stay active, build respect, and develop teamwork, all while enjoying the beautiful game.
The tournament featured both junior and senior competitions, with an incredible atmosphere throughout. Hosted at a fantastic venue, four matches ran simultaneously over three action-packed hours, with some brilliant football on display.
Beyond the competition, what made the day special was seeing young people from different communities, cultures, and backgrounds come together, connect, and enjoy the experience.
Parents also shared their appreciation for the impact of Streetwise:
“Thank you so much for all you do with the Streetwise sessions! It’s great that you give the young people somewhere to go and something to do that is beneficial and gets them off the streets (potentially causing or getting into trouble!). [He] loves going!”.
A huge well done to all the teams who took part and congratulations to our Junior winners, BD5 Boys, and our Senior winners, Keighley Three Lions.
Thank you to our team and volunteers for making the day possible. We look forward to the next one.
