It was fantastic to see so many young people taking part, bringing plenty of energy, determination and competitive spirit to the pitch.

Alongside the football, this tournament’s theme was 'ROAD-WISE; Think before the Thrill. Own the Decision' helping educate our young people about road safety and empowering them to make informed, responsible decisions. With around 90% of the young people using an e-scooter, pedal bike or moped, it was a particularly important topic.

Through discussion and shared ideas, our young people explored the risks they may face on the roads, from joyriding and speeding to distractions caused by mobile phones and headphones. They also shared their own tips for staying safe, including wearing helmets and reflective clothing, using seatbelts, and putting phones away.

Congratulations to our Junior winners, Hanson Ballers, who were newcomers to the tournament, and our Senior winners, Keighley Three Lions! As always, we also celebrated young people who demonstrated our OIAM values in their conduct (Compassion, Honesty, Integrity and Excellence); a big well done to Lewis (Keighley), Lucas (Canterbury), Ibrahim (Windhill), Billy (Woodside) and Leo (Manningham).

A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped make it such a fantastic day. It was brilliant to see so many young people coming together through football, learning from one another to win on and off the pitch.
