One In A Million Celebrates 20 Years of Community Impact

TODAY (6th May 2026) marks the 20th anniversary of One In A Million Charity. For two decades, we have stood alongside children and young people strengthening their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing, whilst delivering community programmes in disadvantaged wards across the Bradford District.

It started as a simple vision to help children and young people know that they are ‘unique and valued’ and to grow in their self-worth. Over the past two decades, we’ve had the privilege of working with tens of thousands of children and young people creating safe spaces, building trusted relationships, enriching and enhancing young people’s lives. Building confidence and resilience. Raising aspirations. Opening up real-life opportunities.

As we celebrate this milestone, we reflect with gratitude on the journey so far. In this special anniversary video, hear from Wayne Jacobs, our CEO/Co-Founder.
