Business Community Unites for One In A Million Charity 5-A-Side Tournament
On Thursday 20th November, the spirit of teamwork, competition, and community pride was on full display as businesses from across the district came together for the One In A Million Charity 5-A-Side Football Tournament sponsored by Business Enterprise Fund (BEF) — an energetic fundraising event supporting children and young people across Bradford.
Held at 5 Alive Indoor Football, the tournament welcomed talented teams from: BorgWarner, Broadway Bradford, Chadwick Lawrence, Christeyns, NPS Engineering, One In A Million, Schofield Sweeney, T L Dallas, and YBFA.
With fast-paced fixtures, impressive teamwork, and plenty of friendly rivalry, the afternoon captured everything our charity champions — community, opportunity, and positive pathways for young people.

“It was fantastic to pull on the YBFA shirt again for the OIAM 5-a-side tournament. We were a bit gutted to miss out on the final after a successful group stage and really tight semi-final, but proud to finish third after playing some great football throughout the afternoon. More importantly, it’s a privilege to stand alongside One In A Million and help raise funds for the incredible work they do with children and young people across Bradford. After group stages, knockout rounds, and a fiercely contested final, the results were:
1st Place – Team OIAM
2nd Place – Chadwick Lawrence
3rd Place – YBFA

The tournament’s ‘Top Goal Scorer’ was Toweed of Chadwick Lawrence with a staggering 12 goals!
