Speaking honestly about opportunity and ‘controlling the controllables’ - like self-discipline- Matthew’s story was truly inspiring.

The evening became especially memorable when one girl who now dreams of becoming a fire officer, tried on Matthew’s uniform, saying, “I’m in shock, I’m speechless, I don’t know what to say,” as everyone cheered her on.
