‘Let’s Grow’ 25/26 Launches: Engaging, Equipping & Empowering Young People

The Let’s Grow Programme has officially launched for 2025–26, bringing a full year of consistent support, meaningful relationships, and practical guidance to young people in Keighley.

Gareth Jones, OIAM Community, shared: “Knowing the many risks our young people face, we were delighted to welcome Tim and Donna (Lived Experience Speakers) on board to help equip young people with the knowledge to stay safe and make positive, healthy life choices. Even in this first term we are seeing strong relationships forming and the impact begin to grow. A great start indeed!”

Across 37 sessions from September 2025 to July 2026, the programme will guide young people through a three-part journey:

  • Autumn Term – ENGAGE: Who We Are
Building identity, trust, belonging, and understanding.

  • Spring Term – EQUIP: Crime Prevention & Real Choices
Addressing risks, influences, friendships, and the realities young people face.

  • Summer Term – EMPOWER: What We Can Do
Turning learning into action — confidence, contribution, and positive next steps.

This year’s delivery is strengthened by powerful lived experience, creating space for honest conversations, real guidance, and long-term change.

Tim Haigh, Lived Experience Speakers reflected: “Let’s Grow is more than a programme — it’s a partnership that shows up for young people week after week. Together with One In A Million Charity, we’re engaging, equipping, and empowering young people through real stories, real relationships, and real support. We’re seeing confidence grow, trust build, and positive choices take root because we’re doing this together — consistently, compassionately, and with lived experience at the heart”.

The Let’s Grow Programme with Lived Experience Speakers will demonstrate how collaboration, consistency and care can help young people overcome challenges, build resilience, and move confidently toward brighter futures.
