Thank you Schofield Sweeney - ‘Where Business Meets Community Impact’.
One In A Million Charity was delighted to be hosted by Schofield Sweeney for our quarterly Corporate Partners Networking Breakfast on Thursday 13th November. We are sincerely grateful to the team for their warm hospitality and ongoing support.
Our guest speaker, Graham Sweeney, Managing Partner, delivered an engaging and heartfelt talk titled “Impacting Bradford: Where Business Meets Community Impact.” Graham shared first-hand examples of how Schofield Sweeney invests in the wellbeing of the city — through its business practices, its support of staff, and through his own personal commitment to Bradford. He highlighted the vital role charities like One In A Million play in shaping a healthier, more connected city, benefiting children, families, and the wider business community.
Reflecting on the value of partnership, Graham said: “The One In A Million Corporate Partners Programme is one of the best value-for-money initiatives in the city. We get to support the charity and its great work amongst children and young people. Along the way, as a business, we’ve won work out of it by connecting with other like-minded businesses”.
Guests also heard from Wayne Jacobs, One In A Million CEO and Co-founder, who gave an update on the charity’s work and impact across Bradford.
We were also pleased to welcome Mark Hutchinson, of Tite-Fix, a committed Corporate Partner, who shared his own experience of engaging more closely with the charity — offering his time and expertise to help shape a new initiative alongside Craig McHugh, OIAM.
Wayne Jacobs: “To all our Corporate Partners: thank you for your continued support, investment, and belief in our mission. Partnerships like yours make an extraordinary difference in the lives of the children and young people we serve”.
Graham closed his presentation with a challenge to the room: “If you’re not a Corporate Partner, why not?”. He encouraged everyone present to bring a “plus-one” next time to help grow the programme and extend its impact.

A special thank-you once again to the staff team at Schofield Sweeney for hosting such a warm and welcoming morning.
