SANTA VISITS OIAM: Hundreds of Presents Donated by JCI Appeal

Here at OIAM, we are grateful to receive donations from the JCI Secret Santa Appeal each year. We are absolutely delighted to distribute the presents to our children and young people, ensuring they feel valued and special at the most wonderful time of the year!

SKATING INTO THE HOLIDAYS

Young People from our Keighley and Shipley hubs enjoyed a trip to Bradford Ice rink! We were delighted to see how much the youngsters helped and encouraged each other around the ice.

For many of the young people, it was their first time on the ice. We’re delighted that they’ve had the opportunity to try something new and build up confidence as the session continued.

Well done all for getting stuck in and having a go!

MERRY AND BRIGHT: Christmas Photo Gallery

A highlight of the year for many of our children and young people are our festive parties, hosted at the beginning of the Christmas Holidays.

This year was no exception, from Christmas crafts in Windhill to gaming tournaments in Manningham, we had a wonderful time!

A FANTASTIC FINISH: Ju Jitsu Development Finishes For the Year With Grading Success!

In the lead up to the holidays, children in our Ju Jitsu Development Centre (based in Manningham) were busy preparing for the belt gradings!

We’re thrilled to report that all 10 martial artists graduated to their next belt! Their dedication, determination and quiet confidence paid off.

With thanks to Sensei Mumtaz for coaching, and a huge congratulations to all our young sportspeople on your achievements. A great way to end a busy year…

JU:MP INTO 2025: Healthy Living Workshop at Youth Club

In December, our Keighley Youth Club were delighted to welcome Sonia Fayyaz from JU:MP.

Sonia delivered an engaging workshop which was designed to encourage young people to get active in sport, and stay healthy.

The workshop was developed by JU:MPBorn In Bradford, and was well recieved by the children, who offered great thoughts on what it means to stay active.

Thank you, Sonia and all at JU:MP & Born In Bradford for visiting us!
