Road-Wise - Think before the thrill
Our ROAD-WISE theme challenges young people to think differently about risk, speed and the thrill of the moment. Whether on e-scooters, e-bikes, quad bikes or around cars, we want to help you develop the self-control to pause, think and make better choices. Through football, conversation and challenge, we explore behaviour, emotions and self-regulation, helping you recognise risk, manage impulses and stay in control of your actions.
THE REALITY
- 196 children were injured on Bradford's roads in 2024.
- 37.2 children per 100,000 were killed or seriously injured – above the West Yorkshire average.
