There’s STILL TIME to donate a gift to the JCI Secret Santa Appeal based in Kirkgate Centre (this weekend)!

We’d like to give a huge shout-out to the amazing JCI Bradford (Junior Chamber International) for the amazing annual JCI Secret Santa Appeal. There is still time to drop presents off at the ‘Kirkgate Centre, Bradford’ this Saturday and Sunday (10-11th December). It really does make a difference for the children and young people we work with.

“This year has been incredibly tough. In previous years we have managed to give you a little bit extra, but we haven't managed to do that this year so far. We have tried our best to get as many mini appeals and donations, but unfortunately we haven't got as many as usual meaning we might not have been able to fulfil all of your nominations. We are just praying we get a surge of donations this weekend for the end of the appeal. Please keep sharing our posts on social media to get the message out”, Michelle Pemberton of JCI.

What JCI Secret Santa Appeal means to the children and families that benefit from this?

“Over the years the JCI Secret Santa Appeal has meant an awful lot to our children, young people and their families. Being able to provide this kind of support is a privilege and allows us to bring some Christmas cheer to some of the vulnerable people in our city. This is extremely valuable, especially in today's economic climate, and we're extremely grateful to JCI and the Bradford public for supporting such a campaign”, Danny Forrest, OIAM Community Pathways Officer.

“The JCI Secret Santa Appeal is something that the children and young people of Bradford South really appreciate. There are some families that struggle on a day-to-day basis meaning that when it comes to Christmas Day they rarely get much. Having presents gifted from OIAM on behalf the JCI Secret Santa Appeal and the Bradford public really does make a difference. It means our children and young people have something to look forward to. Their parents are always extremely grateful for such help each year”, Katie Bailey, OIAM Community Activator, South Bradford.

Morgan Bass and his younger brother Jude, both volunteering at the JCI Secret Santa Appeal pop-up stand this past weekend at the Kirkgate Centre, Bradford. He said, “It was great helping out for the JCI Secret Santa Appeal. I really enjoyed helping provide presents for those who need them the most”.
