The OIAM ‘Anti-bullying Tree’ gets planted in the Heart of the school!
On Friday 2nd December 2022, OIAM Free School students took part in a beautiful ceremony to place powerful anti-bullying messages on the ‘One In A Million Anti-bullying Tree’ in the atrium, the heart of our school building.
Following on from Anti-bullying week, which ran from 14-18th November, each child in school was tasked with creating their own leaf and writing an anti-bullying message to be displayed on the tree.
We hope the tree will act as an important visual reminder that each student is unique and valued, and that bullying has no place in our school community.
A special thank you to members of our school council and anti-bullying ambassadors for taking part in the ceremony.
